1. It is compulsory for all Learner Drivers to carry their learner’s permit and comply with all state road laws while operating the instructor vehicle.
2. All Learner Drivers are aware that any fines or penalties incurred during a scheduled driving lesson will be the responsibility of the Driver not the instructor.
3. Refunds will not be given to online purchases or prepayments. A credit amount will be transferred back into the Learner Driver’s account.
4. An expiry date of 12 months from initial purchase date will be given to all prepaid lessons.
5. All prepaid 5, 10, 25 and 50 lesson packages are non-transferable between instructors. Each package purchased is used for one Instructor ONLY.
6. Failure to provide more than 24hrs notice and cancelling within 24hrs of a scheduled lesson will result in the full lesson fee being forfeited.
7. Failure to provide more than 24hrs notice and rescheduling within 24hrs of a scheduled lesson will result in the full lesson fee being forfeited.
8. If there is a “non-attendance” by a Learner Driver for a scheduled driving lesson, our instructor will use the next 15 minutes to adequately contact you for attendance. If contact is established, the lesson will be conducted in the remaining scheduled time. If no contact is established within this 15-minute window, our instructor will leave and the full lesson fee will be forfeited.
9. It is the Learner Driver’s responsibility to cover any associated cost/s with the cleaning of any mess made inside the instructor vehicle by the Learner Driver during a scheduled lesson (food and/or drink spills, bodily fluids...).
A maximum of up to $250 can be charged if this happens.
10. The Driving Instructor reserves the right to refuse any scheduled driving lesson to commence if that Learner/Driver is suspected of being under the influence of drugs, alcohol or unfit to operate a vehicle.
